Our small fourlegged friend has made his home in a large toy mouse in our kitchen, loves his food and hides to get more… long car journey back was amazing – he was completly calm except playing some sort of miaowing game – guess people passing by may have wondered. Drove back over the Dartford bridge as sun setting – the architecture of the bridge span against the midnight blue sky and colours of the sun setting and all the activity on the river below was impressive. On the way up, stopped at Houghton Mill and walked along the river meadows – this is the oldest working mill in England and sits on a small island.
As we arrived home in the darkness, a badger ran into the top of our garden. Hoping a town cat will take to being a country one.
