Wish i had a rowing boat

then with all this rain, we could row up our lane ..
in fact its not that bad, only parts of the road are flooded..

middle of night last night, before another heavy downpour, heard an owl outside, so close it almost sounded like it was on the roof, wondered if it had sneaked in somehow – it was making bedraggled owl noises…

Its not such a bad time, to have a broken toe after all
