Went up to look at the bunny den at the top of our garden.. have thrown a few things in to try and deter them, some large clods of earth and a few large rocks.
But they have dug them all out and little stranger, where we have planted a few dozen lavender plants in a square not far away.. they have dug up just one of them and left it on its side.. a little like a calling card i suppose. Have replanted the plant and thrown a few more things back in the hole, big sorry to any bunny lovers but our vegetables have been decimated.
But the bunnys are not our only visitor, when pulled open curtains early in the morning, Fluffy close by, two deers very close to the back of our house, frozen, staring at us. We kept very still and they stayed a while, nibbling things.
