The Eifel – beautiful part of Germany only 4-5 hours drive from Calais. Took the E42 ( Lille, Tournai, Mons, Charleroi, Namur, Liege) to avoid Brussels but am surprised my wheels are still attached to the car as this road is full of craters. Just to finish them off completly, drove thru cobbled streets of Monschau …
This was dusk looking over the lake with land rain but next day a little bit of sunshine and the place filled up. Didnt get to go on a boat on the lake but sat watching happily with coffee and cake. Great for cycling, walking and anything to do with water.
