One of those nights that i couldn’t sleep, watched an interview with Albie Sachs, the sort of person who gets things done quietly to try and make the world a better place – but doesn’t make a big deal of it.
Despite everything that has happened to him, he seems a very positive sort of person. In a flamboyant shirt and missing part of his right arm because of an attempt on his life – he talked about the first major activity he did after coming out of hospital was to help draft the first version of the ANC bill of rights for a future democratic South Africa. Now retired he spends his time encouraging the new voices to carry on what he has started.
Something he said, dont really understand the significance – but it mystifies him, all these years, Great Britain has got by without a Constitution.
