Brexodus – its on my mind

Like many  over the last year – am very torn by what is unfolding before us everyday. I love my home and the gentle peacefulness that you can still find in many parts of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. I love the feeling of safety of this small island and ability we have to say what we think – without fear. But we are heading into an unknown – that almost 50% of this country – didnt sign up to.

Despite the slogans sprawled in large capital letters across the Brexit campaign bus – our NHS is struggling and mental health services seem worse than ever – more than ever before i wonder what to do – as increasingly “I dont recognise my country anymore” more

Perhaps for a generation, struggling for survival – there will be scattered over this Earth ” a corner of a foreign field forever England”

How have we allowed politicians, supposingly voted in by us – to change our futures in this way.
