Happiest outside and to be honest, as our garden is a little overgrown, face down – pulling weeds or clipping hedges or bushes into different shapes. One bush resembles a very large chicken and another until we cut it back, the lock ness monster.
Most of our vegetables are growing well – experimenting with growing red cabbage and thinking about removing lower leaves of the tomatoes to encourage them to turn red. With the warmer weather – if you water more, think you must feed tomatoes too. Our pumpkins look very sad and our roses are over but lavender, honeysuckle, large sunflowers and night scented stock attract bees, butterflies and smell lovely.
Tonight as the light levels dropped and before it got really dark – the sky filled with what looked like masses and masses of small birds and then noticed they were fluttering – so more likely bats, from trees a little further away.
