Thousand Emails

Trying not to worry as a thousand emails arrive – another business explaining their plans to cope – some mostly worried about impact on their business, some finding practical ways to manage the situation and some just going to ground. The World as we know it – for now, has gone.

The shops are mostly empty of cleaning products, loo rolls and many things because people are panicking. My mum also told me stories of how her Gran used to have a treasured large bar of soap and cut off bits to give to her family and neighbors. To be honest – never imagined this would happen today. Have washed my hands so much almost raw.

Looked around the web how other countries are coping and overall stats – having a good immune system seems to be very important and having regular exercise built into your life. The impact of long term stress and worry may take a bigger toll going forwards. Not being able to hug, to keep people safe – sad.

A few months ago everyone was worried about Global Warming – now there are almost no planes in the sky except an occasional  Chinook helicopter eerily rushing past our home just grazing the top of the trees. The noise of an almost T-Rex approaching seems to counteract the stealth.

Am very hopeful to hear the progress on creating a vaccine in the UK – to be tested on humans maybe in April and of replicating the virus and so many other advances scientists around the World are making and just the fact – they are working together to find solutions.

Could 3D printers make ventilators as well as car factories that have been taken over to do this. Found a link – its already proposed.

Maybe the W.H.O. could work with countries who have exotic tastes to encourage them to see the risks. I wish our World was a little more prepared – have a plan B for this eventuality rather than have the technology to send a thousand emails.
