As we reach such large figures of loss around the World – whichever night you clap for your N.H.S. around the World – please don’t forget the Carers and those they support and the familys often unpaid who are also overlooked Carers. Not just for the elderly but also younger people – facing other challenges including Mental Health an often forgotten group – who began this crises already facing huge challenges – that are hard to reallise until recently when the rest of us have faced loss of things like freedom – we take for granted.
Please clap for the support workers often lowly paid from Europe – the part of the World this country has decided we can live without who also go into people’s homes to support those who cannot cope without them or who go into our fields and pick our fruit and vegetables – from Poland, Hungary, Romania and Russia.
These are the unsung heroes, in my opinion and wonder if they have access to P.P.E.
Will a vaccine when it arrives – take into account people with Mental Health concerns- who take meds which could interact?
