New lock down guidelines revealed yesterday – led to these comments on ‘This Morning’ talk show:
“We were doing so well to keep our spirits up, to keep going, to keep going, to keep going, but when there is this level of confusion, it knocks you back. When you feel you are just getting to grips with it, you’re just keeping afloat, it just knocks you back again. Now I don’t understand, I don’t know what’s happening ” Holly Willougby (This Morning)
“Now I don’t understand, I don’t know what’s happening.” Phillip Scholfield (This Morning)
As they discussed confusion over Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab’s statements on how many people could meet up, Schofield went on to say that he would find the guidance “far-fetched” if it appeared as part of “a farce on the telly.”
“You literally couldn’t write this, if this was in a farce on the telly” Phillip Scholfield
But it isn’t.. We need consistent and in good time guidelines – acting on Scientific advice. It is true, hope is not an answer – but good Government – could be.
If one political party is struggling – maybe it is time for all parties in all parts of the UK – to make one ‘Think Tank’ – to work out as a team how to beat this and put pride to one side.
