Maybe this is the year our dancing snowmen will reappear. They stand motionless on the path but when an unsuspecting rabbit or postman goes by, spring into life, dancing and singing.
We are being encouraged to have an outdoor Christmas but without snow or a heatwave – scratching our heads how to make this feel special.
Think we will give the turkey a miss and have something Christmassy but vegetarian – not a nut loaf. A long walk and fireworks as it gets dark.
Even though it has been a very hard year – there are things to celebrate and always hope, the next year will be better
