spring – many possibilities

Next weekend the clocks go forwards – more sunshine and Easter is the Sunday after. Listen to birds as it gets light – we seem to have a rogue pheasent that hides in the daffodils and then runs out like a crazy bird making startled noises, Our garden is filling up with yellow flowers, cyclamens and wild cherry blossom and strong wafts from the blossom on the daphne bush. This was a cutting from my parents garden and thought we’d lost it as the mower went over it – but grew back. Given to them by their next door neighbor. Small pink flowers with lovely scent.

Few days ago a large red admiral butterfly woke up inside and we encouraged it to go out the window and bees hovering around the white and purple heather. Not sure if this is early or about right.  And potatoes are in the ground and most seeds germinated indoors and moved out to small greenhouse.

Know we are lucky to have somewhere to be outside
