Wondered what people effected felt about NHS Trusts who supervise Mental Health Care removing option of service users to have meds delivered to their home instead also rationalising health care into Units run by technicians not nurses and pharmacists.
Instead of encouraging integration into the Community using health care services available to everyone – instead segregating into Cost Saving Units for people only with mental health diagnosis.
Concerned by doing this – an extra pair of eyes will be removed to pick up mistakes made ‘inhouse’ and will also reduce transparency especially of patients conditions.
It also means patients will need to travel to get the meds – possibly increasing risks to some of them and real possibility, meds will not be collected.
